Storyline:
Deraku is 18. He has just become a knight. His job is to do quests and complete missions. He is a cocky, stupid 18 year old who thinks he is the best, until he gets his ass kicked by a monster and his teammate has to jump in. Then he has to prove himself to the army to show he is good enough to fight.
That's when things go bad....

The brown stone steps going up to the castle seems a bit odd. It's pretty informal for those steps to go up to a formal place.

So, after many hours last night, I have writing a 12 page plan of what ideas I have for the game so far.
I also need to update the screenshots, and pretty soon there will be a demo up.
I will update the first post with screenshots and the features provided in the game so far when I get chance.
Just to give you a quick taste at the game, here are some of the features:
Synthesis Shop.
Learn skills at a shop.
Learn how to cook.
Sideview Battle System with ATB and ziifee's spin command.
A quest system.
They're only for extra features. And there are more.

suppose I should mention about the game, and what I have actually done instead of sit on my ass drinking coke.
I have been working on Knights of Deine mainly doing the castle and the town, because its a kickass castle which (when finished) will take up about 30-40 maps. Yeah, quite big.
Also, I better explain how this works... You see, when Deraku (the main character) starts off, he is a Class 9 knight, but can gradually improve and become a better class, like Class 8. Class 1 is the best, where Class 9 is for new people and weak knights.
BUT there is another class system being used. If you go down the left corridor when you first enter the castle and go to the end, and enter the room it is for training. If you talk to the person at the top not doing anything he will let you fight a monster of the Class you are in. Only these classes are different. You start off as Class E, fighting hounds, bats and slimes, and when you win against one of them you obtain CP (Class Points) to gain access to the next class, and being able to fight more enemies, snake and hornet. The better the class, the harder the enemies.
For the town, there is the normal town with 4 exits. The exit to take you to the world map, an exit to take you to a small peaceful farm town (still the same town, just like a countryside), an exit which takes you to a park where you can see animals and children playing, and an exit which takes you into the castle.
In the castle there are rooms you should go in. They would be the General Quarters, where you can talk to the General of the Class you are in, the Synthesis Room, which lets you morph weapons into others, a training room where you can train and the Throne Room, where the King rules.
In the town you should probably take a look at the Skill Shop, and the other shops. To find the Inn it is in the farming part.
I guess that's about it...
There is more, but I'm not going to spoil the game...

It just seems unusual to me. You should put stone stairs on the walkway and keep the risen ground as is.

Sounds good man.I've also been wanting to add a Synthesis Script but I gave up on the idea But I wish you good luck for your game.I'll be waiting for the demo!

@BasilMeer - Thanks. The synthesis isn't hard... It's KGC_ComposeItem and it's very simple to use. Open the script up and it tells you how to do it.
