War for Eternia Demo

Hey y'all!I thank whole heartedly dezz123,Kyle?,Vectomon,and Omegas7 for helping me for my game!And I also thank Andinator,moneymenace,yami,Reisin Ren and everyone else on OmegaDev for nothing Anyways,I was and still am pumped up to make someone play me game,don't know why though.I requested Reisen for a logo but it seems she didn't reply so I just used the logo Kyle? gave me and edited it very badly.And I forgot to put a gameover at the end of the battle at the second town.But that's the end of the demo.The demo's short,I'll be adding more stuff soon.For now,check this one out:

Thank you all!And as I mentioned above,it's not too good,it's missing a lot of things but I'll be adding them soon.I was getting jumpy,couldn't stop myself.Any bugs you find or any advice would be a lot appreciated(especially if it's about the town maps and the world map )AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD I again forgot a thing,we get our quests from the guilds,I accidently made a scene where our mentor gives us our first quest.I'm not in the mood of compressing file data again.Sorry,I'm expecting everyone to say that fix your bugs first and then post it again.I've fixing my mistakes right now.Okay?Thank you once again.

Font please

You want the font I used in War for Eternia?

The font needs to be included in a fonts folder so they have the font. You can't load a font if it isn't there.

I played your game, BasilMeer. I like the concept with that small sense of humor. But the first 5 minutes into it, I found some issues.

- Use of RTP music, especially on the title screen can give people that sense that you didn't work very in looking for your resources, not me in particular.
- The large trees in the town you start in has priority issues. The tops of them don't let players pass.
- This is little, but a text command for waiting 1 second is showing within your text. Not generating any effect.
- And the big one! For some reason when I go into the adjacent town, there is a fight scene of bandits taking Echo from a guy. (I assume Echo is currency) Well none of the two bandits nor the person being robbed is showed on screen. So your main character looks as if he's looking and talking to a mirrage.

I had accidently did the tree tjingy,it's solved now.The last point,yes,I removed that scene and moved the fight into the pub.I didn't work with the music 'cause I had been thinking of "What to put up next?" Still,thank you for playing the demo,I'm just solving the tree thingy problem and the other town scene.

I have played the demo.

• It seems that logo on the title screen keeps that white background around it, making it impossible to see most of the animated background behind it. I could help you out changing that logo's background to be transparent or something else.
  
• When I enter the building where I learn skills (which looks like a library), the door would transfer me to a spot inside the building, and not to the its entrance. (Enter the building, you will appear in front of a bookshelf.
  
• The trees issue moneymenace already reported.
  
• The Echo thieves issue moneymenace already reported.
  
• The huge tree in the second town, it seems to be cut on the left side.
  

I've fixed the problems moneymenace told me about,for some reason,the doors started transferring me to the roof of the houses too,I've just changed some back to the entrance and I would really appreciate help with logo.I know the whiteness in the back of the logo.I asked Reisen to help but she said she was busy.Would really appreciate help with the logo Omegas7 and I made a game cover,check it out if you don't mind.

Go to Computer -> Local Disk -> Windows -> Fonts -> Paste the font here.

Oh. I thought the font script was included. Well, thanks. I'll post my error report and opinion soon.
Edit: Here's what I think:
Why is Leon and that chick dressed in the same way? It looks really weird. If it was some kind of uniform for knights it'd be ok, but two people just don't dress the same way for no reason. You should choose your characters better. There's also the googles. I'm not sure when googles where invented, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the middle age.
The dialog is nice. I'd only include the font so future players won't have to download it. I'd also choose a less goofy font so people will take your game seriously.
A tutorial battle for new player would be nice. You could make that chick (Keep forgetting her name) figh Leon to "Test his fighting abilities" and start a tutorial battle.
Overall, a nice demo.

Ok Vecto,thanks for the feedback.I couldn't think of more better characters so I just used the sprite I'm using for Leon and that chick you keep mentioning is Arie.Yes,I know they look similar but the face of the character looked as I had thought about her character and personality and etc. I was really thinking of changing the font but thought it looked good but since you say it looks goofy,I'll change it right away.I forgot to put the tutorial battle.It occurs when you leave the town.Anyways,thanks Vecto for calling my bug demo a nice one.I tested it two times yesterday and again fixed a lot of grammar and bugs.

YES! ARIE! I hate when I can't remember someone's name. About the font, it's just my opinion. You don't have to change it
