Enterbrain's getting better.

So, I was checking a few websites out for VX, and happened to come across a few "valuable" bits of information about Enterbrain.

1) They have made a brand new tileset and GAME for RPG Maker VX, as an Action RPG, which is a full-game with their own custom scripts. Can't you tell THAT'S gonna be awesome.

2) They are progressing quickly to make a brand new RPG Maker! YES!! It should be released by the end of this year, or early next year, and is said to have all the old functions back, but with a simpler interface, and with a simple yet similar scripting system. It's very newbie-friendly, and is said to feature a brand new battle system.

So, who can/can't wait?

Oh man!I can't WAIT for the new RPG Maker and the translated version of the A-RPG game.

Why they decide to release a new version when I finally start to get serious with the current one? ;3;

It's been 3 years since the last one, so why NOT?
I'm going to learn how to script for the new one, since it seems to have a better scripting system, and more information on how to script with it.
I'll also E-mail them now.

I'd just wish for this to be the last, ultimate rpg maker. I'm tired of changing engines or learning yet another RGSS...

I hope they add 3x more event commands.

Awesome. I'll let my excitement level rise when I see more concrete data.

Hmmm.... I haven't received a reply yet, but I should get one shortly. I'll let everyone know about the details then.

Just been confirmed that Enterbrain made a survey asking what people wanted to see for the new RPG Maker 2010 on April 12th.

The survey has ended.

They've posted a new survey that ask certain questions about what RPG Maker fans would like to see in the next installment in the RPG Maker series for Windows. While we knew it was bound to happen sooner or later seeing how it is their most popular maker I'm surprised they didn't post this sooner.

Questions 1-6 - Resource Related
Questions 7 and 8 - Contest Related
Question 9 - Asks what type of game you want to make with RPG Maker.
Question 10 - Ask what features you would like to see in a future version of RPG Maker and ask for specifics.

Now we wait for the official announcement of the next RPG Maker.
