itself is finished, you can move it to
either Demo showcase of Completed games
which ever you see fit.
Well some of you may be familiar with this project from rpgmakervx.net, Unfortunately it has been delayed again and again to the point where I have had to take the thread and old demo down(temporarily of course) to cut down on the comments, the project received a lot more appeal than anticipated and hopefully it will do well here so I can get good feedback
PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING THE GAME!
- Spoiler:
1. The game is met to be quite Challenging, so please do not complain about the difficulty to much, as it is beatable and has been by others.
2. The Game is heavy on story and cutscences, so please do not complain to much about them, as they are well done in my opinion.
3. The game does contain violence mild gore and mature language as well concepts that may not be acceptable to everyone.
4. The project has been heavily inspired by the Shin Megami Tensei series, Xenosaga and Breath of fire V :](that does not mean I mimicked them, they just gave "inspiration").
5. I am not interest in getting a team together for this project, this is something very personal to me ^ ^.
6. If you wish to give a FULL review then please a least complete the project before doing so, however you may make comments on the project as you go on

9. More voice acting will come with time, it just takes time to get the good recordings and implement them all.

The Past:
Genetics: The first legal sapient life created by man in years past. These creatures could think; feed, sleep, reproduce, and even acted on instinct as well as having several other qualities of ordinary living organisms, but most importantly they had that of something similar to a “will” or "consciousness". This made them the closest thing to a living being ever created by man. Originally created by Cortez Sergious, a man who had always been interested in life creation in his years and wanted to play God. When first presented to his superiors his creation Adam(the first genetic) wa… unimpressive and his research humiliated. His superiors found his project useless for profit and thus order him to continue the original work entrusted to him. Sergious rejected this order and left the company he worked for with hatred toward the greedy men in his heart.
Years later, a new scientist stepped forward with stolen research from Cortez Sergious. He used it, completed and claimed the project as his own and unleashed a scientific revolution for the world with the new technology of Genetics. They became a very common use for other experiments, other studies in other fields and many became commonly used as tools of labor for various manual working jobs. The world had received a drastic economic boom as a result and for a few years there were little issues concerning Genetics and the research.
Sergious saw the world using and abusing the very living organism he brought to this world. Though these were not all created by his hand specifically, he still played the key role in there creation and still felt responsible. Because of this, he claimed even these abominations as his own and saw them as his children that he must liberate from the selfish people that would dare to treat his creations like mere tools for their convenience. Sergious became enraged with the thought of them suffering, but there was not much that an old man such as himself could do alone and with such short time left in this world. He dedicated the last few years of his life to one final project. This would be his second and final fully complete Genetic, he named Yeshua, The messiah of “his” children. Yeshua would trigger the revolution for the Genetics and would start a series of events and outbreaks, riots and other hostilities involving them. These were known as the Genetic conflicts
For years Genetics continued to go rouge and cause a countless amount of these Conflicts. They became a large and common problem throughout the country. It was a small issue at first that was being maintained; now it grew much larger and troublesome. Something more needed to be done and soon, thus a new military affiliation was developed. This group was specialized in combat against Genetics and was met to be prepared for any abnormal or (paranormal) conflicts it was faced with and should be able to investigate these types of activities that may otherwise threaten society. It was known as (AAF) The Anti Abnormal Forces. Branches of this organization spread throughout the US (and some internationally) and continued to expand over the course of time, as it was a very well developed and effective effort against the conflicts. Despite this, the turmoil continued and, still, the damages only grew more and more abundant.
The Present:
AAF remains enacted and continues the job that had been set for them years ago. Genetics have drastically evolved and have learned there own form of reproducing without human assistance. Today nearly no tamed Genetics exist in the United States. Also domestic Genetics and Genetic research in general have been banned in the U.S., however Anti-Genetic research is allowed and fully encouraged. The Genetic conflicts have only grown and caused more trouble, countless effects, and continue to be a common occurring problem throughout the nation (particularly in the Mid-west).
Lundia, a state located in the Midwest is currently in a state of emergency and has been suffering from several riot attacks of Genetic swarms for the past couple of months and is becoming quite the war zone.
The story significantly takes place in this fictional state of Lundia. You play as the characters Brock and Maia Larkins, a brother and sister who are also partners that work at an AAF branch in the city of Creet. They are in a special rank that deals with doing exclusive detective and usually in-dept exploration work in designated areas. They are known as "Abnormal Investigators". They originally had been put in charge (also very interested) of investigating a supposed dead biologist by the name of Cortez Sergious the original creator of the Genetics, just a few months after they were promoted to AI’s (Abnormal Investigators). However, because of there intense focus on the case for so long, their work began to pile up. Due to the recent events and state of emergency call in from Lundia, their investigation was put on temporary suspension by the HBS. (Head branch of state).
They receive a summons from the commander of there branch to attend a meeting for an obligatory mission that requires participation from all Licensed Genetic hunters in the branch. Brock and Maia are asked to assist in the interception of a somewhat organized Genetic attack in the city Jeran (southwest part of Lundia).
The story begins here, right before the very meeting with them preparing themselves for the conflict. Brock and Maia take a look back on their past and of all the events that occurred in there life up to joining AAF (as well as some of there fallen comrades during there time in organization) and now believe there in on something way over their heads and question there choices of joining AAF from the beginning. Yet together they seek the truth of how all the chaos in their lives started in their past and also wish to find a way to end the Genetic Conflicts. They believe Cortez Sergious holds the key to this answer, but their curiosity will get the better of them and eventually they will learn more than they ever wanted to know and will soon come across an “energy” and “force” they never believed existed in there world.

Brock N. Larkins
24 year old male

A high ranked Abnormal Investigator in AAF, even though he was only recently promoted to the position, he has shown great skill and ability in this rank and has earned the respect of many within his branch. He is also partners with his younger sister Maia who shares the same rank and position as him. The two of them enlisted into AAF together a few years ago to pay off old debts quickly, however after awhile they grew to like the job and have been working together in the same ranks ever since.
Generally a very introverted man, but is also a calm and collective person even when he really is afraid, it is also difficult to get him excited about many things. He usually doesn’t speak unless spoken too (unless necessary) and is always thinking of various miscellaneous things. Usually always has something going on in the back of his mind, he is a very deep thinker and often gets lost in his own thoughts.
Maia L. Larkins

Like her older brother, she is a highly skilled abnormal investigator in AAF and works together with him at their branch. She is just as good at her job as Brock and even possesses a lot of skills in areas that he himself lacks in, this makes them a well balanced and yet very adept team. The two have been working together in the same ranks and positions since the start of their enlistment in AAF, as she refuses to let him do anything with out her. So it’s no surprise to many that they have been assigned as partners as Abnormal Investigators.
Maia, is quite similar to Brock in general, but still takes a different attitude toward most things or people. She is a very non-sealant woman and gives off a sort of cold feeling, yet like her brother, she too is generally pretty calm and collective even when staring death in the face. She is open to speak to most people, but only as long as they are not wasting her time. She likes getting straight to the point and not ramble in meaningless conjecture. A hard women to impress and like her brother, she doesn’t really get excited by many things.
Despite her being the younger of the two siblings, she often plays the role of the "big sister" to Brock and keeps him on his toes and in check when she knows he is getting caught up in is thinking.
Other Characters
Conrad Richards
36 year old male

The current commander of the AAF branch in the city of Creet, he has been working with AAF all the way back to the old Section 15 days. Although he is in his mid 30’s, he is quite young looking for his age, he is also married (with no children). He isn’t easily frightened and takes his job very seriously; he also tends to lecture his subordinates very thoroughly. He is quite a sarcastic person and always has a joke or two when lecturing his men.
He has taken an interested in Brock’s goals and actions and even helps him from time to time with his personal investigations, he has even put him and his sister in-charge of the Sergious Investigation at Brock’s request. He tends to try to annoy him by giving him minor and unimportant task that aren’t really related to his job, or hitting him with sarcasm and jokes in his lectures. Still he respects him for being the cooperative subordinate that he is and generally gives him a break compared to others.
Cassey G. Garossa
28 year old male

An Abnormal Investigator who works at the same AAF branch as Brock and Maia, though he has worked at the branch longer than the brother and sister, he is not really as high ranked as the two, nor is he as good at the job as they are. Typically because he is quite lazy and laid back and doesn’t get his assignments accomplished with his best effort.
At a time he was partners with another AI by the name of Marina Green, for a number of months. She was the only person who could inspire Casey to work hard at his job, he even feel in love with her and wanted to start a relationship, but unfortunately she had been killed by a powerful Genetic during one of there investigations in and old part of the city of Minnatis.
Following her death Casey began to retreat back to his lackadaisical ways, but also became quite depressed, as well as vengeful toward Genetics. He has also lost affection for any woman and still lives in obsession over Marina, though he tries to constantly hide this emotion.
Cortez P. Sergious
Deceased (Presumed) male
Born: January 1st 1951
The original creator of Genetics and a former R&D scientist for the Growth Corporation. Sergious was an expert biologist, who had always been engulfed in his research; he had become literary obsessed with the idea of life creation and biological engineering. He was a top scientists in Growth and his skills were very valued and well received by the brass of the company.
At first he was easily taking care of the task and jobs entrusted to him from his superiors, but as he began climbing the ladder in the corporation he started to put off his major assignments to finally work on the projects and research he had always wanted. This lead his superiors finding him unreliable, they began to pressure and threaten him more and more with his work. Thus he became stressed, frustrated and tired, and after a series of linear events with his superiors, he soon retired and continued his research elsewhere.
Sergious is a very stern and stubborn man; he never does anything halfway and takes his research very seriously. He sees all of his projects to the end with the utmost quality and presentation. He intensely focuses on his work and nearly nothing can sway him away from it when he has his mind set.
Antagonist

An organic sapient life form originally Created by the renown biologist Cortez P. sergious. Though they had no initial purpose Sergious was quite pleased with what he created. A project that originally started as "Chimera Manipulation" made a drastic turn when Sergious created the "Maya cells". He set his goals higher from the Mammalian chimera project and set to create a true living organism without any natural means. He succeeded but left the project half done as well as stolen.
Years later Genetics ended up being used as tools of labor and experiments (some even as weapons). Most of the labor types are equip with mechanical devices to enhance there capabilities in manual labor and to lengthen there lifespan.
Some saw this as a good thing since they were able to replace some of the unwanted jobs and task set out for most animals. Some Genetics qualities can vary depending on there type or the company that produced them, but in general they have a quite distinct organized insect-like behavior and seem to have developed on there own instinct since the first Genetic conflicts. The build of there being is made up mostly of a synthetic type of cell/skin known as Maya.
Currently Genetics original design and qualities have changed; most have long since evolved from there domesticated origin. This also means that the labor enhancements placed on the original tamed genetics don’t exist on the current types. (this helps distinguish between a (old)tamed Genetic and a (new)rouge one). The new Genetics are of course known to be more vicious toward humans or other organisms.
Note: Genetics devour one another to evolve and grow, this means that they are there own delicacy no matter what type, strength on the Genetic will determine weather it’s a common predator or a common prey to others.

Lundia
Lundia is a state located somewhere around the mid-western region of the United States and is also the main setting of the story. This state consists of more than 20 different major cities and currently has about an average population of 1.1 million citizens today (numbers have drastically dropped since the Day of the Gospel). This state is also the birthplace of Brock and Maia.
The events of the story only take place in a few selected areas of the state, these are the following:
Creet
Creet is one of the many cities in the state that host an AAF branch headquarters; it is actually very small compared to other branches, but is decently ranked in the system. This city is well protected in general and is one of the few that has yet to receive a Genetic conflict. The AAF branch located in this city is also the very one that Brock and Maia are currently stationed and were they live together at the dormitory building.
Minnatis
A small city, that’s mostly on the edge of Lundia and is quite distant from places like Creet or Jeran. This city does posses an AAF branch that is actually quite large and well ranked. This city has suffered from a few Genetic Conflicts in years passed, but is steadily in the process of recovering from damages. It has many ruined districts in the downtown areas and some rundown towns in one of its counties. This city is also were the 2nd foster home Brock and Maia were moved to after the events of the massacre that took place at there previous one.
Jeran
Jeran is one of the largest cities in the state of Lundia. It has many suburban areas as well as a large downtown city with several different districts running throughout it. It is extremely close to Creet and they even share a county. This keeps this city typically well protected as well from most Genetic riots or attacks. This city also contains an AAF branch of there own however it is significantly smaller compared to the one in Creet.
Kulumbi
A city that has long since been ruined from the mass and relentless amounts of Genetic Conflicts. The city is entirely abandon by citizens and has been set off limits to the general public. Genetics have taking quite a liking to most of the areas in this city and as a result, a large amount of them reside and nest here. This city is of average size, but never once contained an AAF headquarters. Currently this city is labeled as one of the top 5 most dangerous places to be in the country and there has been much talk and rumors of bomb plots to wipe out the city entirely and the many Genetics that reside there.
This city is the very city were the Day of the gospel event took place nearly 14 years ago and suffered a large amount of Genetic attacks. It also once hosted one of the Growth Corporationstop R&D divisions (the very one Cortez Sergious was employed at). This city is also the exact birthplace of Brock and Maia and where they lost their parents.
Anti Abnormal(armed) Forces
Commonly known as AAF, this organization specializes in combat and investigation against abnormal activities or entities that are considered particularly threatening to human beings or the world. The organization was truly at first created to counteract the large amount of Genetic conflicts that had been threatening the country somewhat frequently. Since AAF had previously been section 15, it kept many of it’s same concepts of its predecessor and continued it’s works of investigating and confronting other known abnormal activities.
The Idea of the organization first formed back in 2009, shortly after the events of the Day of the Gospel. The chief commander Daemon Edgewood of Section 15 was given a proposal of expansion and integration by the government. He accepted the idea and section 15 was soon integrated with many members from several different law enforcement and military sections, such as the Marines, Military police, and the most biggest integration (and what AAF is loosely based off of) The S.W.A.T. Many former mercenaries have also joined in on this organization. This lead to a large expansion to the organization and soon it became the very key factor against the Genetic Conflicts while at the same time sticking very true to past work and attributes.
Growth Corporation
The Growth Corporation was a special scientific research industry, dedicated advancement in several studies in biology and other things such as organic chemistry. Growth corp. has developed countless amounts of medicines and drugs, as well as provided many breakthroughs and advancements in stem cell research and other biological studies such as splicing or even cloning. The growth corporation is still currently a top company in biological studies (even with the problematic events with Genetics) and has provided some of the most key Anti-Genetic research programs. However there respect and reliability have somewhat diminished from prior years, due to the very current events with Genetics in the first place.
Growth was founded sometime back in the 70’s and started out as a small college program for young students interested in biology and chemistry. After a few years it became more organized and soon formulated into a small business. Around 1988 it became one of the most well known and popular corporations interested in biological and chemical studies. Soon it expanded even more to even a few different countries across the world and was at its full peak from 1991 to 2008 and was the top corporation in its field.
XenoTech
"Uncommon Science, Uncommon Service" - XenoTech
A top of the line Anti-Abnormal Utilities manufacturing company. It seemed to have almost popped up out of nowhere only about two years after the start of the Genetic conflicts. They have long been associated with the AAF since there initiation and have provided them with most of there extended Genetic Hunting utilities. They are also the creators of the "Sutra Terminal" and have managed to distributed the product world wide the AAF is too, a big user of the Sutra Terminal and have even invested in to the company to increase advancement in the product as well as other useful utilities.

Karma
A mysterious energy that is theorized to exist in all sapient life, currently study on Karma has only recently been conducted thoroughly and is at the moment considered and Abnormal Event and its existence is unknown to the general public. Many scientist that have only recently researched Karma believe that it is a sixth sense that has not fully developed in the living organisms at this time.
There have been rare cases of humans and even some animals of being able to tap into the use of Karma. The capabilities of this sense can vary depending on ones Atman (ones most abundant Chakra). Another name for Karma amongst most scientists is U.E.S (Unidentified Extraneous Sense). Some scientist have theorized that Vectors are a key link to humans tapping into there dormant ability of using Karma.
The Seven Chakra's
These are the 7 energies that exist in the human body (and perhaps in all living creatures) that receives assimilates and expresses Life force energy. Theses seven energies are as follows,
1. Muladhara-(Earth)Base or Root Chakra (Spine)
2. Swadhisthana-(Water)- Sacral Chakra (ovaries/prostate)
3. Manipura(Fire)-Solar Plexus Chakra (navel)
4. Anahata(Wind)- Heart Chakra (heart)
5. Vishuddha(Either/Sound)- Throat Chakra (throat and neck)
6. Ajna(Light/Dark)- Brow or Third Eye Chakra (pineal gland or third eye)
7. Sahasrara(Almighty)- Crown Chakra (Top of the head)
Though all humans possess each one of these Chakras, most will have one specific Chakra that gives off an excessive amount of generated life force. This is known as an Atman, it is believed that the Atman will be the attribute that one remains most healthy in (i.e. having Anahata as an Atman means having a very healthy heart).
However at the same time one will have a Chakra that gives off a significantly smaller amount of energy (this weaker chakra can vary, there is no defined pattern) and works in opposite as the Atman (i.e. having Muladhara as this weak Chakra could demonstrate several back problems in a lifetime). Ones Atman is to be determined genetically and will be inherited from one of the parents. The knowledge of Chakra and its concepts are still not yet a general study and is still under Abnormal Event status for the time being until more information and proof on its theories are give.
Atman
Ones soul or true self also is the common term to refer to ones most abundant Chakra.
Vector
Vectors are strange creatures/beings that are frequently found from time to time by AAF. No one knows what they really are, some suggest they are ET’s, but this is still yet to be confirmed. The information on there existence is top secret and intensely classified. They are a high level Abnormal Event and there purpose or means of continued existence is shrouded in mystery. They seem to be able to utilize the sense of Karma which is yet another high level Abnormal Event and currently it is believed that Vectors tie in with the reason behind the energy of Karma.
Back in the old Section 15 days, Vectors were confirmed to be the reason behind over 20 different abnormal investigations and were also considered to be the true start in the rumors of mythical creatures and urban legends (i.e like big foot or aliens). There has been a total count of 27 different Vector sightings found in the US and over 52 worldwide. Due to the strange anatomy and nature of the Vectors it is close to impossible to study them and find out more about them. Most investigations and events with vectors have been terminated or put on hold due to the ongoing events with the Genetics.
Vectors have a very distinguishing look to them yet most will look differently in design, they all seem to have a puppet-like look to them and there bodies are made up entirely of an various metal elements found on the periodic table(some that are even a mystery.) They are very complex beings and it is extremely difficult to understand there anatomy or processes as they have no true core areas or known source of life or key functions of there actions.
AI
A common acronym used throughout AAF, stands for Abnormal Investigator a high ranked position in AAF. Basically a detective of Abnormal Events and cases. They mostly take care of the dirty (or rather detailed) work of the events, weather it be cleaning up, looking into a place before done so by the regular Hunters or single handed investigations on small time events.
Prey
A term used by members of AAF to refer to there current target or enemy. More commonly used by Abnormal Hunters, the term has become a common use for Genetics in general amongst AAF as a way to boost the morale of the teams.
Genetic Conflict
A term given to the terroristic events caused by Genetics, in early years when events like these first began, it was a term used simply to refer to a Genetic going rouge or to refer to the controversy of using the Genetics for certain purposes. Today it is used to describe any major terrorist attack or riot involving Genetics specifically or indirectly.
Abnormal Event
A mysterious or significant unexplained occurrence(Physical or not), originally back in the Section 15 days, an abnormal event was a term that was used to describe any unexplained mystery that even they had no explanation for. Even today the term is still relatively used the same, but it can also refer to almost anything that is unwanted and un-beneficial to the human race itself in anyway(that wasn't already naturally there or developed) This is why Genetics are now considered an abnormal event by law, though there are still many who believe that Genetics are still salvageable and that they have only gone rouge because they were used incorrectly in the past.
It is also used differently by certain scientist as a way to categorize any entity or physical discovery that is yet to be fully explained or still under major study and is also very classified(i.e. Vectors and Karma) this often is considered the official use of the terminology.

Cortez Sergious and Life creation
In the year 1998 a scientist named Cortez Sergious created a creature known as a “Genetic”. This creature was the closest thing to a living creature ever created by a human. It could think; feed, sleep, breath, feel pain, joy and had several other different qualities of ordinary living creatures, but most importantly it could evolve and had that of something similar to a Will or consciousness. Sergious named this first of his creation Adam.
This was a large breakthrough for Sergious’s studies as his creation was near full completion and his dream would soon be accomplished. He presented the fruit of his research to the brass of the company he worked for. At first they were somewhat impressed with his presentation, but he still did not get the reactions he quite wanted. In the end the brass saw no form of immediate profitable factors from his project, thus they humiliated him and were not impressed or satisfied with his work. They ordered that he stop his old research and continue with the task they originally gave him. A few weeks later his creation Adam had died due to a weak immune system. Sergious research had also been stolen by one of the brass members that was interested in his project. He later sold it on the black market; however it didn’t make as much profit as he thought it would have. Sergious was much angered by these serious of horrible events and decided to quite the company he worked for. He went else were to continue his research and studies to better improve his project.
Marcus Herd and the scientific revolution
Three years (2001) later Sergious's research and data on Adam had been picked up by another scientist by the name of "Marcus Herd". He became obsessed with Sergious's research and soon began studies of his own with his data. He managed to create a replica of what KS had first created. But with a few changes. It was a bit more aggressive than the previous and lost its ability of more concentrated thinking. It followed more on basic instinct of eating and sleeping so it could continue to live. Herd managed to keep the same idea of evolution with his version of the Genetic that KS had intended.
Unlike KS, Herd managed to get this creation public and shared it at an annual science convention. Herd was awarded a medal, money and the honor of having his project as the scientific breakthrough of the year. Herd did not give any credit to KS during this time and claimed the study and research all as his own. He is also the true and first person to actually name the creatures "Genetics".
(2002) Around this time Genetics were well received across the world, countless additions and improvements to Genetics and their research. They became a very often use for other experiments and other studies in other fields and many became commonly used as tools of labor for various manual labor jobs. Genetics stimulated the economy drastically; however there were still many who felt it was wrong to treat Genetics as they were, since they were very close (or practically were) to fully intelligent living beings, but at the same time there were others who didn't consider them legally "alive" since they were man made and did not have a will as strong as a real living creatures. Either way things were relatively still positive for the moment and Genetics were a practical use for the scientific and even business world of this age, with little faults in use and only very few were known to go out of control or berserk on others, it became a very reliable and safe resource and work of study.
Nothing much was still herd from Kortez seregious even after this large scientific evolution across the world. however he was watching, he saw the world using an abomination of his creation. These hellish versions of his children they were, but it was by his hand that made it even possible for them to exist in this world. He saw them as being enslaved and used as tools and being tortured by the research of others. He felt as if he could here there cries calling out to there true “fatherâ€. He took responsibility for the suffering they had to endure and felt he could not stand by and do nothing.
Sergious’s unknown return
He had been getting even older and the years, but even still his research continued, so there was not much time left, he had to do something, anything before it was to late. He did not hesitate and purchased a large used research bunker in the outskirts of the state of Lundia that he named Nazareth. Truly he did not have the money to pay for this bunker in the end, but it didnâ€
t matter to him for he knew his time would run out soon. He and a few close friends of his(that were also scientist) began on a new Genetic project that was named "Yeshua", "The Messiah of his children".
(2003) Sergious continued his work in hope to complete Yeshua, however something unexpected happened. Sergious continued to not pay the bill to the owners of the bunker and soon he stopped making contact with them entirely. This lead to his assassination, goons from the company of the owners of the bunker broke in and destroyed nearly everything he had been working on and his research. They also killed his comrades that had been working with him and himself as well. Yeshua was incomplete, but because of sergious death, the fail safe inside Yeshua was activated that KS implanted. He had awakened and even though unfinished he still had a great amount of power and rampaged, killing most of the men that had broke in.(*note* Yeshua is the only Genetic with a fully computerized Artificial Intelligence. Unlike the rest of the Genetics who have minds to that of natural living beings, but at the same time Yeshua has nearly all the knowledge that KS himself possessed.) The bunker was shut down and once again abandon and Yeshua was left there to finish the task that his father entrusted him with of liberating and evolving his brethren to what they truly should have become.
Section 15
5 Years pass (2008) and issues with genetics begin to escalate. Reports of an increasing number in rouge Genetics continue and starts allot of controversy throughout the country. Rouge Genetics were simply Genetics that would go out of control and could not be clamed even with the restraint devices planted on them. Any event or predicament that dealt with or involved a rouge Genetic was known as a "Genetic conflict", they would go berserk and felt threatened by every living entity around them. They would also deviate from there instinct that was originally implanted in them. If a Genetic was to go rouge it was legal to kill them on sight even if owned by another company or organization. The Genetic conflicts were at first rare, small and somewhat easy to deal with, but eventually they began to grow out of civilian and standard police control; they became a common problem that needed to be dealt with immediately.
A special underground military unit known as section 15 is set as the main counter group used for the Genetic conflicts. Section 15 was a special military unit that specialized in abnormal and paranormal investigation, solving countless cases of events that were only known as urban legends or myths to the public. In the beginning they were handling the Genetic Conflicts with little trouble and resistance, taking out rouges Genetics with ease, but even still the problem persisted with itself and even the rouge Genetics themselves began to become more common, powerful and harder to deal with. Due to this factor the section was expanded quickly and soon became more known to the public. They were set as the main branch in charge of dealing with the Genetic conflicts.
Day of the Gospel
Tuesday October 19th (2008). On this day a series of events took place that shaped everything as it is in the present. Kulumbio, a city in the state of Lundia had faced a mass riot attack from berserk Genetics that escaped from a nearby confined Genetic research facility on the outskirts of the downtown area. Today it is still somewhat unclear as to how or why all theses Genetics went berserk in a well kept facility such as this. They viciously attack and killed many of the citizens of the city. The military police had mobilized quickly into the area to try and subdue the riot, but they were not use to dealing with Genetics at first hand. Unfortunately the nearest section 15 branch was nearly two cities away and could not get to the area fast enough to assist. The city suffered over 250 Casualties and over 1.5 million dollars in damages and another 4.6 million dollars of company losses if the deaths of the Genetics are included.
Another significant event that took place on this day was the "Gospel of Yeshua".During around the same time at the start of the Genetic riot, a high branch police department in Minnatis(another city of Lundia) was randomly attacked by a single berserk Genetic, it ran wild and caused quite the uproar, but caused minor damages and was luckily killed with great haste. After the confrontation the Genetic was inspected thoroughly by the police and something very interesting had been found on this Genetic. It had a steel "Black colored box" strapped around its abdomen area that contained a video tape inside. The police of course watched the tape and it turned out to be a video recording of a strange head figure that looked neither human nor animal and so they at first assumed it was some sort of "Genetic costume" as the mouth did not move. The entity in the video claimed itself as "Yeshua", "The Messiah of "his" children and this video was his "Gospel". A long and enduring speech talking about his resentment towards mankind and would not forgive them for there actions of what he called "his brethren enslavement and torture". He claimed that he would liberate his brethren at all cost and would purge this ugly world that he did not see fit for him and his brethren to reside. In the name of his father he would free his children and shape the ideal world that his father wanted for his creations. He saw the human race as infidels and a large factor that kept his brethren from attaining the true from (evolution) they were meet to aspire to. Yeshua did claim that the Genetic riot in Kulumbio was his doing (though never explained his methods) and stated that it was only a warning and a glimpse of what was to come. The video went on and on, but none the less the video was still quite chilling and frightened a few at the department.
Immediately after the video ended the police department got in touch with there brass and sent a copy of the video the following day. At first the information was contained and the video had only been seen by a selected few, but information was leaked as well as a copy of the tape. The video went public and ended up on the internet, when seen by many it left allot people frightened and confused, but there were some who saw this as nothing more than a horrible practical joke on the recent events that took place in Lundia. Eventually this information and video struck national attention and was a chilling phenomenon that everyone was talking about. It ended up in the media and eventually became worldwide news. This "Yeshua" and his solid claim of his involvement with what happened to Kulumbio and threatening the very human race itself, was a serious concern of many and it only escalated the controversy over Genetics, Genetic research.
Herd’s Confession
July 23rd 2009, Due to all the recent events and increasing Genetic activity over the past few months. Things had only been getting worse and the public was in an uproar. Government officials were getting desperate and started to have reason to believe this Yeshua was truly the culprit behind all the Genetic Conflics. So they put section 15 in charge of the investigation and find out who this Yeshua really was. However with nothing but an untraceable video and a dead Genetic that carried it, they had no real leads. There only option was to go to the source, Marcus Herd.
Many claims and charges were put against Herd and even if some didn't really hold to much water they still managed to make him quite scared. Section 15 was desperate; they back him to a wall and were going to charge him fully as the culprit with (as they claimed) "incriminating" evidence, but at the last moment Herd broke and told the truth of his actions from years long sense past. This was quite the unexpected turn around for Section 15 and even they were unsure if they should believe him or not, however he explained everything in full detail to specialist at detecting lies, they believed his story and convinced Section 15 that he was telling the truth. This was still not good news as now they were back where they started and still needed some leads but time was running out and results were soon to be expected. They decided to simply charge Herd as an accomplice to the Genetic conflicts, but not as the true culprit but they would publicly announce that he was the one responsible for the past events, it was a last minute cover up method, but it seem to work perfectly. Ironically shortly after Herd was sentenced, there was not much else herd from this Yeshua, this could have not been more perfect timing, as the public was in full belief that Herd was truly behind the conflicts, this even had section 15 scratching there heads.
Shaping of the present
Even with Herd sentenced and no signs of Yeshua, the Genetic activity still continued to increase and this time even more on the western part of the U.S., rouge Genetics were now a common problem especially throughout various states in the U.S. Also a new 2nd generation of Genetics came fourth, these were not ones man made, but rather were born through reproduction from other Genetics which wasn't even known to be possible at the time since there was no known reproductive process from them. These Genetics were first simply known as "Neo G's" and were very similar to the regular rouge Genetics, but not as aggressive, but they did feel very threatened by other living creatures and attack them violently. They also had a different type of delicacy compared to there ancestors that could feed simply on herbs, they were more carnivorous and would feed on one another to survive, the stronger would feed on the weak and seemed to have developed a sort of "Only the stronger survive" aspect. This was a strange change in nature for Genetics and was hard to understand, these Genetics could not be controlled they also would have new features and abilities that were completely unknown to Section 15 as well as scientist in the field of this study.
With these new factors in play section 15 had no choice but to once more expand themselves and this time were fully revealed to the public and there responsibilities fully surfaced. This new expansion of the Section lead to a name change and branch distributions across the nation (and even a few internationally) as well as a few concept changes and different protocol. It was now given under the new name "The Anti Abnormal(armed) Forces" and had more than 200 branches spread throughout the country.
This organization was specialized in combat against Genetics and was met to be prepared for any abnormal or (paranormal) conflicts it was faced with and should be able to investigate these types of activities that may otherwise threaten the world.
14 years later...
The Present
(2023) AAF remains enacted and continues the job that had been set for them years ago. Genetics have drastically since evolved and the conflicts have only grown and caused more trouble and countless effects. Today tamed Genetics are even less common than they were 14 years ago, also tamed Genetics and Genetic research are now illegal in the entire U.S., however Anti-Genetic research is allowed and fully encouraged. AAF has also continued to expand, a branch is now available in nearly every major city and a Genetic conflict is now almost as common as a regular crime in some states, from 14 year old statistics. Regular crime rates themselves have long sense gone down while Genetic Conflicts continue to increase, but G-cons rates are much higher in the mid-western states and currently, Lundia has the highest rate in the nation, while states on the western side location have lower rates, some even have close to none or happen once in a blue moon, but recently there has been a sudden increase in places that have usually low G-con rates as well.
The state of Lundia is currently in a state of emergency and has been suffering from several riot attacks of Genetic swarms for the past couple of months and is becoming quite the war zone, only a few cities have managed to remain untouched from any of these swarms, many civilians of the state have gone to the most secure cities with the lowest rates for refuge, there has also been much talk of Yeshua's return and that he has come back to finally initiate his task that he threatened the human race with 14 years ago. Though this is only a rumor it is still something that AAF must eventually look into.

Sure thing Dez, The reason for a reserve is to gain +1 toward your post count so I can post the actual demo under the thread itself as well as another announcements, because the OP will be so large and crowded, it would be a pain to edit and annoying for the reader. So it's better to do it this way to conserve space and much more convenient.

It's going ok, but it's about the same from the last time you played it, with just a few new features added in and a bit more voice acting. Currently Im moving toward working on an extended ending. Once i get that done and the last of my resources in, it will be good to go and I will upload it.
From there I can start on the Next part and direction of the story and prepare for more expansion on the coming demo.

I hope you enjoy, but do be aware this kind of story may not appeal to you as it is quite different from other RMVX games....at least that is what I have been told and I personally think so myself.

Certainly, well not sure if you knew or not but Ethereal means "Heavenly or celestial."(im translating it as heavenly). And Gospel...well Gospel is actually a bit hard to explain...Technically it's revering to the teaching of jesus and the life of christ. However I translate it in the title as "Words of God(or jesus if you will, also Yeshua works too)
So basically you would translate the title as:
Heavenly words of God(Yeshua)

Anyways more updates regarding the thread:
Terms, History, and concept art are all now up. So things are pretty much finished regarding the thread. I may end up adding in one more character profile though.
Also careful when looking threw history if you have taken interest. It's quite large, but it's also not the best revised. But I do encourage reading it all to understand the story well, as I have put much effort into it

Yes it is an updated demo, MUCH updated. And that glitch has long sense been fixed, so no more worries about that lol, honestly I still don't know why people would hit shift during a cutscence...but I have fixed the problem.

Ok been gone for awhile again...I know im sorry =.=; I just started as a mod for RMVX recently so Ive been really tied up over there...
Anyway some good news for all those who care, game is pretty much ready...still waiting on a few other things though...
so In the mean time I have decided that I am going to release the game on here early to get some more opinion before I do the err...final draft? And before I release it on rpgmakervx.net.
So yes you guys are special and get to play this thing early, just keep in mind that this will not be the final draft so there may still be a few changes and addition in the final upload. However your criticism is still very much encouraged.
Anyways I haven't uploaded it just yet, but It should be ready with in the next few minutes, so be on the look out if you are really interested in this project.
