Why is it always me...? :(

Yeah, as many of you know, I've had a few problems with my games and everything lately. Well...It's gotten worse.

Now I've literally lost EVERYTHING on my laptop, and it's broken. I was able to get a new laptop, but I think all the files are gone completely, with no way on coming back...

It broke by me being a dumbass, getting pissed off and punching the screen, leading to me turning it on only to see a cracked screen and behind it loads of grey stuff. So, yeah, I'm kinda pissed off right now and everything I've ever worked on/everything I've done/everything I've obtained are all gone. Completely.


IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO GET THE FILES BACK TELL ME PLEASE. SERIOUSLY.

Well, if you just broke the screen, the files are there but you can't see them because... You broke the screen. Getting them out, now that's hard if you can't see what you're doing.

There's a few problems...
1) I have NO ways of transferring the files.
2) I can't see what I'm doing much...
3) I need HALP!
4) 3/4 of the screen is lined and the background of it is invisible. I go to the top-left of the screen and I can see everything there perfectly fine.

If your hard drive is fine, you can take it out and put it in a new machine.

However, it pains me to help you when a) you don't back up yourstuff when b) you go around punching your goddamn computer.

Well, I assume your laptop has a USB port. Just get a flash drive with a big data storage (1 Gb is fine, I guess) and transfer your games and stuff to your new laptop.

@IMP1 - And how do I do that?
Also I couldn't back up my files. My dad just had to go out and get a new laptop for me. I didn't have anything I could use for the backup. Not even a USB. Also, I didn't mean to punch it hard, and I can't help getting pissed off. When I get pissed off with my laptop, I take it out on my laptop. A lot of people do that.

@Vectomon - I'll have to save up and buy one, although it's gonna be hard to see what I'm doing. I'll try that, but I can't guarantee anything. Thanks.

Online storage, memory sticks, external hard drives. There are loasda ways.

If you have anyone you know with a desktop computer, more importantly the moniter, you should be able to hook the moniter up to your laptop.

I used to kick my CPU, but one day I missed it and hurt my toe really bad. Now I just smash the table.

Dezz, first off, DO NOT WORRY you will be fine, you didnt damage your hard ware, there will not be any problems as long as you dont beat it up anymore.

I'll simply go round to my Uncle's and ask him to help me, since he has a Master's Degree in ICT and knows what he's doing. Thanks for the help guys. Again.

Oh I remeber when I had a Windows 2000 Microsoft PC and I finnaly got so pissed off I threw it down the Hall and hit my brother and he fell XD. luckily his head fell on the Monitor and killed it. One thousand pieces went flying all around. Pwned. I get pissed off!!!

I take my anger out by punching on the marble or walls. It's fun ^^ BTW I hope that you'll get your data back and this time, try not to damage your laptop this time.

If I was tsuna and my pc went slow I would go into Hyper Deathperation Mode with the X Gloves on maximum and use Omega X-Burner to Obliterate my freaking PC

Will do. I'll be going round to my uncle's when I get home from school and asking him to fix it for me or to help me transfer the files.

IMP is on the right track here.

I would remove the HDD from the laptop, plug it into a desktop, gather all the files you need, and then burn them to disc, add to a USB drive, or copy over the network. There are many ways really.
