(Also, I am aware that Yggdrasil is an odd name, but by actual game finish, it will all make sense.)

Kouta:
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Human

The main protagonist of the story. Kouta is a youthfully spirited young man,
always pushing forth into the world.
Kouta has always watched after his little sister Raina.
Protecting her, and keeping her safe.
Kouta tends to question life, and the society he lives in.
Going as far as to running away from everything just to find the answers he desires.
Kouta holds within him a unique power, that in legend, holds a deep omen of forsaken destruction.

Raina:
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Race: Human

Kouta's younger sister.
"She has always been a crybaby. A little girl who
needs her big brother by her side."
As quoted by a bully from Raina's school.
Raina shows that she has grown up quite a bit since then.
And begins to rely more on her own then ever before. As she set out to find her brother
when he mysteriously disappeared, searching for her own answers in life.
During her journey she is going to unravel way more then she had ever thought possible,
along with her companions that she meets along the way.
Her personality (along with everyone's) unfolds as the story goes.

Minahira(Mina):
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Race: Human

A very young gunslinger from the far away desert lands of Planet Vera II.
She has always been a feisty loner of a girl.
Before meeting Grant and the others she was an orphan.
Mugging townspeople and causing havoc throughout the Granite Region of Vera II.
Even being as much as a nuisance to have a bounty on her capture.
She doesn't take anything without a fight, and backs up her big mouth with some serious action.
She can be rather scary at times.
Mina was nothing but a punk of a rebel.
Raina teaches her to fight for your friends and to protect the people you love.
Mina became what Raina considers her "best friend" during their companionship.

Grant Fields:
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Race: Topiare Human

Grant is a physically strong and skilled Topiare Crusader and Captain of the IPD's Heaven Squad.
He joined the IPD at age 18
He has always been incredibly lawful towards the IPD, and has followed their requests like a dog, no matter the order.
He has never once questioned the IPD or their motives.
Until recently
Grant has been sent on a Special ops mission to find a boy named Kouta, along with the two girls, Mina and Raina, And bring them all back to IPD HQ under strict order of the Federation Head Branch, and marked with the Mission Rank Class S. (Which is considered an above emergency

Rose Levia:
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Race: ?

Rose is considered a prodigy of her time.
She knows far more then she leads everyone to think, and is shrouded in mystery.
She is a beautiful young woman who is skilled with firearms,
and is the captain of her own spacecraft.
She is a universally adept young lady and enjoys the thrill of adventure.

Sebastian Kross:
Age: ??
Gender: Male
Race: Endless

Although he is the heroes enemy, he tends to follow a more neutral party
then anything else. He is what is known as a Rogue Endless,
which is an Endless that was born outside of the Council of Eden.(aka Council of Endless)
He is very intelligent and tends to be very serious, but shows
so many signs of a lazy attitude towards everything.
His power out matches that of many other of his kind.
His past is shrouded in mystery, alike Rose's,
bringing many questions to the table on his true motives.

So you know the commonly used terms in the game.

Endless: Dimensional Demons of unnatural dark energy. The only known people of the universe who are aware of their existance are Captains of the IPD. Any others who have seen an Endless, have died by it's hand. Only an IPD Captains power could even survive a battle with one.
Dimensions: During the New World Era it was common grade school history class knowledge that the New World Era began with the opening of other dimensions or realms, which caused the outbreak of demons and monsters throughout the humans universe, along with the abilities of spell-casting, and magic. Although this is well known, what people do not know is that there still are other unopened dimensions waiting to be explored, which is knowledge only known by Endless or IPD Squad Captains.
New World Era: Future Earth Era (Commonly referred to in-game as New World Era, which is the era of time where earth evolved to a point where they could come in contact with other planets beyond the Milky Way.
The Great Door: A large physical gate that holds all the hidden bounds of the galaxies beyond. It strays through dimensions, appearing only in the outer beyond reaches of that dimensions universe.
The White Enigma: Before the New World Era, Mankind made the moon sized spacecraft called "The White Enigma" which traveled through and beyond space and our solar system, finding the gate of time which held inside alternate physical dimensions. That of which humans opened, creating what is now known as the New World.
IPD (Inter-Planetary Defense): The IPD was created by the chairmen of the (IPA)Interplanetary Alliance after the New World Era. Much like a government with widespread laws, everyone consisting in the Milky Way Galaxy abides and follows the law of the IPD, and it's jurisdiction. The most important well-known law, is that travel to an "Underdeveloped Planet" is forbidden. The Head Branch of the IPD is a very mysterious and strict council, and rarely ever leaves their station, making little contact with others.
Underdeveloped Planet An Underdeveloped planet is a planet with a level of technology low enough to entitle it to protection under the Underdeveloped Planet Preservation Pact (UP3).
Underdeveloped Planet Preservation Pact (UP3)The UP3 defines three planetary classifications: underdeveloped planet, monitored planet, and developed planet. A monitored planet is one where contact is only allowed with a number of representatives of that planet's civilization, and an underdeveloped planet is one where no contact with that planet's civilization is allowed whatsoever. Emergency situations where lives are at stake are an exception to this rule, however, and secondary contact (contact where natives are not made aware of the fact that someone from a developed planet is present) is allowed.
Federation Head Branch The Highest of IPD officials. They control every movement of all IPD and are the only operatives with access to the entire IPD information database.

Ah, well. No harm in that. I like how the game is looking, just the 155 mb kinda repels it...

@moneymenace: n the viking mythology Yggdrasil is the name of the tree that supports the world. It's roots are in the underworld, and there lays a giant snake/dragon that eats Yggdrasil's roots. If the tree dies, Ragnarok will start. At least that's what I remember.

The game seems really interesting. I'll try it out some day.

Well, I just played until the giant serpent and it killed me but I saved right before it. It was great! I was wowed! I didn't really see anything wrong with it!

Looks good, but it could do with some extras in the maps, it looks a bit bare. Perhaps add more trees and plants.
