Hey, practicing anatomy's not a stupid idea. Grab some pictures of real life people and draw them. Check your mistakes and draw them paying attention tot hose. It's very helpful, despite what you may think.

I have to scribble everywhere. It's just me, I think, but I really like doing it, lol.

But before you start drawing in a specific style (like Japanese comics/animation) you have to learn realism. Every style, the more unique it may be, is absed on realism.
