Where did you learn....

I had to ask, mainly for the purpose of scripting. But where do you guys learn how to script, sprite, frankensprite, fish, cook, sleep?

Well, I don't really learn how to do things like that by any way apart from being bored and testing things out.
And Omegas7 started teaching me how to script, but with that I epicly failed.
Also I learnt some things from searching for resources and such on Google, to find tutorials and such.

Script: My beginnings were with Ccoa on RRR plus an interesting "RGSS For Dummies" tutorial found in there. Then I moved to RMVX.net where BigEd781 and Mithran were freaking epic answering all my questions (more than 30 were asked!). Later BigEd, Enelvon and Solistra made a scripting forum where I visited all the time and learned some more stuff. Later said site died. From then on, RMVX.net was my main resource of answers for my many questions. My greatest thanks are for Ccoa and BigEd.

Sprite: ... Just, no.

I don't know how to script, so let's talk about spriting! <3

When I was little I was really into Pokémon, and sprite editing was big. I learned how to make diferent Pokémons by combining two or more sprites and editing them, but I wanted to make my own Pokemon! So I asked the great omniscient Google, and read some tutorials. I eventually started spriting other stuff, and went to PixelJoint (You should check it out sometime). There I got lots of useful comments and critiques. I'm still learning, of course. I used to sprite a lot of different things, but lately I'm focused on RPG Maker sprites and stuff.

I used to combine pokemons a lot too! How come I suck at spriting?! 0.o...
I guess I will have to visit PixelJoint sometime soon.

I did use to make some pokemon sprites when I used to love it.My story's the same as Vectomon's.Except that I lost the enthusiasam to sprite.Then I gave up on it.Maybe I should try spriting once again...
