i love to make ideas! how about a custom contest? at least 3 or more part having to be custom from graphic! that means it can be custom sprite, custpm map chip custom face, custom battler, custom systems graphic, custom animation, or other but it has to be ALL of it! so if you use your main character as kaduksi, then ALL the sprites have to be kadukis or it wont count! people will make a 20 minutes game, will have to be at least 2 party members! i think it will learn people to make sure all their graphics look the same! does everyone liking it?

I like the idea. It would have to take around a week or two to finish, though, because if people are going to make 3 or more parts custom, it would take some time making all those graphics XD

this is true! however it is not like they will exactly have to using all this sets! they can only make those like they will use!

for example, if my character will only have 5 skills so i will only having to make 5 animations, not replace the whole RTP! XD and it will still count if you do not use any others that are RTP :)

Yeah, Jaeroll, you're being too down on yourself. Now me on the other hand would totally stink at a fan art contest. I'm still wondering if I can finish my Week Contest Game.

Okay, my idea... beginning and end contest :face: You get to make a beginning to a game, have a transition of some kind, and then make the end of the game (Player has to infer what happens in between). And here's the catch- It has to be entirely evented Very Happy

No scripts at all (Except for maybe a fog script and a light script, which I think falls under the mapping category)! *Noobs gasp* Custom graphics would be allowed, but no custom tilesets.

@Zadorain: That is a pretty great idea! We could do that, it is relatively short, and probably lots of fun (I never finished a RPG project!)

Yeah, but Omegas, the make a beginning is pretty much all scene work. And the end would be all scene work and a boss.
And I agree with Elfosng on that community game. We could use one.
