Wings of the Phoenix

Long ago,there existed an island in the middle of the ocean.The island had a volcano in it and inside the volcano resided a might and fiery Phoenix.It was one of it's kind.It's flames were so strong,that they could even melt the hardest of the metals.People said the it's feather's were the source of it's power.Some foolish people tried to control the Phoenix but as they stepped closer to the Phoenix,it's flames burnt it to ashes.

When the Phoenix felt it was time for him,using the volcano,it melted it's way to the Earth's core and stayed in there until it died.And gave birth to it's offspring.This baby phoenix,being the last descendant of the phoenix secretly got captured by evil (no one knew that), and when this phoenix flew high over the islands was actually for spreading cursed feathers through the land. The people who took possession of said feathers fell in the control of darkness and evil, and, as time passed, more victims of said curse were appearing, turning into multiple wars all over the world...

Today, the whole land is a chaos, where everyone fights against everyone, where you can say almost every person is cursed... Everyone, except very few nomads.

The tribe of said nomads made the promise to restore the world to its original peaceful state, so they spread all over the world sending their best warriors (one of them being you, the player) to recover the fifty cursed feathers. Supposedly, once the fifty deadly objects were collected back, it would be possible to purify them, and use very ancient magic to create one new, holy phoenix to fight against the cursed one

Wow Omegas,you really do create the Epic stuffs.

50 feathers in your quest :O... Maybe 20 would be from dungeons/bosses, and the other 30 would be from special events and main quests in the game...

Yup!Since you gave me more ideas too.I don't know why but I'm too obsessed with phoenix.I always wanted to create something related to Phoenix.

Here's some ideas to obtain the feathers.
How to Obtain Feathers
You go back to the volcano where the original Phoenix lied. The Phoenix's spirit will grant you with the ability to be unaffected by the Curse of the Feathers.

Outside of a Dungeon
- Quests for a person who has a friend with the cursed feather. Like saying, My friend is actually unusual and can't come in to work today, can you fill in. I'll share his feather with you.
- Mini-Dungeons where you fight minor monsters and proceed through some puzzles. The Mini-Dungeons can be found by talking to people for clues of what's it about. Forcing the player to actually talk to the people.

Inside of a Dungeon
- Obviously, in various treasure chests there will be a feather.
- You can't access a boss battle unless you gained all of the feathers in the dungeon.
- There will be doors that need a certain number of feathers to get into.

I'm glad you like the ideas, Basil. I, although got them half from Zelda: OoT and Banjo Kazooie with the note doors.

Experience comes from trying.If we(actually me)will start working on this project,we'll get more ideas to make it epic.
