Game Gale 2010
Game Gale 2010 is a contest where the community gets to join and work on a game for 2 weeks to produce a promising demo. The goal is to make the best game out of the community, where the judges (me and possibly Omega) play them and decide which game is the best. The winners will get their game advertised in the announcements. You're allowed to work in a team up to three, or on your own.
RULES:

You are not permitted to use graphics/audio without the owners permission. No, Square Enix did not allow
you to use their audio.
You are not permitted to work on the project before the contest starts.
You are permitted to use custom graphics.
You are permitted to do anything else.

If you would like to join the contest, state so here and I will update this post.
If you would like to be a judge, PM me.

The contest begins on MAY 30th 2010 at 0.00AM. (The beginning of the day) GMT
And ends on JUNE 15th 2010 at 0.00AM. GMT

Is this already approved by Omegas? -.- .. Also, what about for those who are noobs at making games, there's no chance for them to win .. I suggest a Character Making Contest. =D!

Actually, it's a fair chance. 2 weeks of hard work can make amateurs make just as good games as people with a lot of experience. I know because I was part of the same contest on RMN.

And no, he hasn't approved but it's a contest and it's not really a big deal or anything... It's just a contest so it isn't a problem or anything. I just said that...:/

I'd recommend you to discuss this kind of activity in the moderators' forum before making it official, Dezz. But seeing as you already started this and some people is already agreeing, I got no other choice than to continue with this contest.

This topic shall be closed for Dezz and me to discuss more about the contest's content and rewards in the staff forum. Everyone else just wait a little bit until we come up with the official contest thing. Thanks Very Happy
