Taking Requests

Heya as I'm new here I'll show off some of my sprite work.
Half of them are major edits on pre exsisting designs
whilst The characters with blue hair are enitally customed.
Which in my opinon are all the better for it
I am taking requests for XP related stuff so give me a picture
or a desciptive message and I'll gladly lend my talents to your cause

Holy crap these are seriously awesome. I'll be requesting some once I get XP up and running again. ;P

NEVER SAVE AS A .JPG! See those funny squares around the sprites? That's the .JPG, infiltrating your sprite's quality. Save as a .PNG or .GIF, but never, never as a .JPG. I can't stress this enought.

The sprites look cool, btw.

Vectomon calm your nipels down it dosent matter its .JPG his sprites till kick ass. and I'm very please to know we have a XP Spriter. Not much left ya know. Anyway glad to see you fulfill your pride

Did I say his sprites where bad? No, I didn't. Did I say saving as .JPG made him a bad spriter? No, I didn't. Did I say the sprites where cool? Yes, I did. Was I helping him? Yes, I was. Did you read my whole post before telling me to "calm my nipels down"? No, you didn't.

The arguements that are done here are by some pretty demeaning means, but oh well.
These sprites are absolutely amazing. I hardly use XP anymore, even though the tilesets, battle system, and music kick butt. But if I do manage to return to it I will be sure to give your works a try.

What he probably meant was that .JPG graphics are not recommended for game usage. You look at these sprites and they look awesome, however... you remember these days when you took an image and set its white background as transparent? And the result was an horrible image with white dots around it? Ew, .JPG did it. PNG instead saves how the image exactly should look like, perfect for computer graphics =D

But I am sure Snacks saved it as .JPG purposefully, probably to avoid someone from stealing these sprites (if you did so, it would be useless to use them in your game project D=) since they're just for showcase?

Anyway, they look awesome, yeah.

On a related note who here actually uses XP still? Going through the fourms it seems to be more focused on the vx side of things. Which is slightly depressing as I only have one Rpgmaker tool to work with.. Well I guess I'll keep the Xp flame alight if this happens to be the case :king:
