Game Introduction

ArmVeX Adventures will be a series of TCG video games based off of Forum Communities, which cannons with its first game: Jack and the Cardstock (which intro's the rpgmakervx.net community). Although I originally intended for this to only be an Andinator's Studio Project, I quickly realized the difficulty of creating this game, as it will be the first of its kind. As such, We (I) have partnered with OmegaDev and the Creator's of SnJ's Rocking Adventure (A.K.A. Omegas7 and Sevith). OmegaDev will be providing the in game systems needed, and SnJ Creators will be working with the storyline and dialogue to keep you guys interested ArmVeX Adventures: Jack and the Cardstock Icon_wink
The Mansion

One of the vx.net communities "key-locations" is the VX Mansion. Jack and the Cardstock will also take place there. Though originally the safe zone for members, the castle has become overrun by monsters. Looks like another one of those traditional games, except the I've compiled a team of the best to pull it off!
Feature
This game will feature:

  • A Custom Battle System thanks to Omega Development Boards
  • A unique hilarious yet thorough dialogue thanks the the Creator(s) of SnJ
  • Custom Graphics thanks to Andinator's Studio
  • A unique new card game created by yours truly

Sorry for the slow development. First of all, I have decided to directly work on your card battle system version, and later focus on OCBS.

The current To-Do list:
  • Summon up to five members, each requiring support member cards tapping.
  • Hand display.
  • Deck Graphic display. (Almost complete)
  • Ban Pile Graphic display. (Almost complete)
  • Scrolling up and down (to see the enemy area)
  • Support animations in the scene.
  • Draw Phase
  • Summonig Phases
  • Battle Phase
  • Effects Phase
  • Card Selection system. (Almost complete)
  • Effects system logic (Almost complete)
  • Deck creation menu (Almost complete)
  • Battle End rewards scene.
  • Tapping cards.
  • "Examine Card" scene (Almost complete)
  • "Vertical Mirror" version of cards, for enemy area.
  • "Damage Pile" (But won't work until battle phase has been implemented)

I didn't use the global card graphics you sent me once because... They just made no sense with the size of the scene you gave me. So I activated my uber drawing skills and made some epic card graphics. As you can see, I can already summon main members by tapping support members Very Happy. Oh, and a question, will the hand cards be limited or unlimited?

I will later send a more developed screenshot of the battle scene, of the examination scene, and of the Deck creation scene.

Alright, I've divided areas of a card effect into four topics-requirements, cost, restrictions and effect

Requirements:
There are two types of requirements: "cost" requirement and gambit requirement.

Cost requirement basically means that in order for this to happen that has to be on the field

gambit requirement is when this happens because that happened (e.g. card effect says you can play this if you have nothing on your field)

List of Requirements:
Cost Req:
1)certain card has to be on the field
2)certain card has to be in the grave

Gambit Req:
1)When opponent plays a card
2) When this card destroy's opponents card
3) when opponent card is destroyed
4) when this card is destroyed

Restrictions:
They work similarly, but opposite. basically, it means that this cannot be played at all if that is not something... but just because that is here, doesn't require this to.

List of restrictions:
1)This card cannot be played unless you have nothing on your main zone
2) this card cannot be played unless your damage is less than X

We've gone over cost and effects...
