How to make a trailer and a game cover?

Hey guys!I was just wondering how to make a trailer for your games,I want to make one for my game.Does anyone knows how?And I also want to make a game cover for it,I seen some fan mades,does anyone know how to design one?

You could use one of those desktop recording programs. There should be a free one somewhere in the internet. As for game covers, just draw a box (Or get an image of a blank one), make the front and sides images and rotate/skew them to match the perspective.

Legally? Nope. You could ilegally download Photoshop but it's a heavy file.

For graphics? Well, GIMP is fairly powerful.

Since there are audio problems with my PC when recording videos for my games, I make my trailers as game projects instead... Here is one a bit old for my game project Eternal Chronos.

Ah, I always forget GIMP. There's also a 30 day trial for Photoshop on the official Adobe website and a 30 day trial for PaintTool SAI, another graphics program somewhere in the interwebs.

Yeah,I know that and I forgot to write "Video Editing Program".I used Photoshop 7.0 to make this game cover.I also have GIMP but whenever I open it,I get a headache o__O

Gimp is great as well... Though its interface is... Mad >___>

GIMP just drives me mad,it's very hard to use(for me)whereas as I mentioned above,I'm now using Photoshop7.0 with ImageReady7.0.Though,I have NO idea what is ImageReady?

i know this is gunna sound messed up but really you can just use a keygen or a cracked version for photoshop. I personally use ms paint and gimp but eh

The last time I bought a Photoshop CD with Keygen,it had a Trojan Virus and infected my Panda Cloud Antivirus.When I scanned it with AVG,total of 204 viruses were found but this is going off-topic.
