... You're right!!! I'll do it!!

Ok time to be a bit more serious.

The default theme, called prosilver, was ok? (the blueish, omegadev-like theme)
You might not see it now because I'm re-uploading everything, maybe later it will be visible.

Wow. I'm pretty sure this is the most active topic OmegaDev has had in a very, very long time. It's slightly ironic. I'm sooo pumped for the new site!

Now I'm pissed.

GoDaddy offers a one-click phpBB3 installer in their server.
So I used it.

Later, much later, now, I consulted about it in phpBB3 official support.
They told me it wasn't a very good idea, for strange errors might appear and they couldn't help me. They told me it was better to do a manual install of phpBB3 instead of using the installer.

FINE. I WILL DO IT MANUALLY. AGAIN. (I did it twice today, but ended up using the one-click installer)

This is ridiculous. Everything was fine with phpBB3 until a .html file suddenly disappeared, and, can't be replaced. At all. I'm asking for support right now but... if this continues, I'm going to SMF.

I am almost sure MyBB will be the forum software we'll use. Phew, I would install it now, but I'm still removing THE STUPID PHPBB3 SOFTWARE AND the MySQL databases IT RUINED.

From DVX, I know that it is FUDGING IMPOSSIBLE to remove MySQL databases and replace them. It is SOOO difficult.

EDIT- Although we're probably on two different pages here. But whatever, point is it's hard to use MySQL Razz

I like MySQL. What I hate is when I do one wrong move, send a wrong query, and the database gets raped. But I swear this time I did nothing wrong. I followed every step!

But now I will install MyBB, which looks promising, and I'm sure the new site will be ready freaking soon.

Ehhhhhh! Can't rush perfection now can we? Very Happy

Also I'm sorry that your database got raped, but now that its happened you better hide ya kids and hide ya wife. Oh and hide your husband too, cause they are raping everybody out there.

I must admit that MyBB is doing excellent. I didn't believe it would perform so well.

No errors, fast, easy theme, mod and custom "MyCode" installation.

For IMP1: MyCode are pretty much your holy custom BBCodes. You can take a look at MyBB's page XD

You know what is really cool?

Improved Gald system. Now you can get income when users post in your topics, and you can also send Gald to other users. This allows something pretty cool:

The Developer Marketplace!
Since you can send Gald to others, you can now sell services! (Graphic, code, event, mapping etc). And there are Gald transaction logs so most of the times people can't cheat (I have to test first)
And, you can even pay your game team members lol.

Yes, yes, but what is Glad actually used for? I mean besides for selling services...

Buying cookies? Having monthly contests to see who has the most glad?

Selling services like graphics etc is pretty much the main reason it exists, no? (couldn't be implemented well here)
But yes, you can try to get the most Gald in the forums. I won't cheat Wink

Maybe Gald can be used for other things like name changes and private forums.

The private forums thing sounds awesome, as does name changes.

I have decided to stay up and finish it, so I say that maximum two hours for completion.
